February is well known as the month of love... It is the month where lovers show each other how much they care (on Valentine's Day)...
But what is love? What does love entails?
The Bible clearly defines love:
"Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away."
1 Corinthians 13:4-8
To me, love is that feeling you get when you think of the person you adore. Love is that savory bite into your most favourite food; be it chocolate or cheesecake. Love it that story you enjoy hearing before going to bed. Love is the showers of rain that waters the garden of your soul...
But this month of love is not really meant for lovers, but it is the time when remember to let the people we are close to, and let them know how much you care and appreciate them...
Be sure to do something extra special for everyone you adore and make them feel loved and appreciated... The smallest gift of love could change a soul forever.
