The Bible dictates that we do not know when the Lord shall appear. "If therefore you shall not watch, I will come on you as a thief, and you will not know what hour I will come upon you. (Revelation 3:3)
With that being said, how on heaven's name are we, simple humans, to know when Christ shall return. Drawing from past references: in 1999 when I was a child, there was a rumor that the computer age will end and computer will crash and everything will go down by the millennium! Many can attest with me that NOTHING of that sort really happened. If that is the case, why are we putting a deadline on God, quoting scriptures and taking them to the wrong extent. Judgment day? Really?
Didn't the Bible also state that after death comes judgment? If that is the case, why are we contradicting the Bible and it's teachings to make a mockery of that dreaded but blessed day?
I am fully persuaded that come the 21st of May 2011, that nothing of that sort will ever happen, and if it does, then that will mean that God went on His words, when he stated that NO MAN will know when he will return and judge all of humanity! This is not the first time a rumour on the end of the world has been circulated, but each time it occurs, the world beleives
